A national work force built on meritocracy will help to eradicate the current sense of it is not what you know but who you know which is currently deeply embedded in the core of most job seekers and employers in our beloved nation. For example in present day Nigeria, IF two equally qualified school leavers both desire an employment opportunity in the same company the school leaver who has the better social standing/connections within the company will secure the job.
